Mike Marks is the senior vice president of finance for Nashville, Tennessee-based HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services. Marks overseas Parallon, Case Management and Performance Improvement areas as well as the company’s financial resiliency program
In 2021, Marks led the next phase of our financial resiliency efforts for HCA Healthcare and is the financial operations representative to the Care Transformation & Innovation team. Marks continues to identify ways to improve and gain efficiencies throughout the organization. In addition, Marks is participating and leading various existing initiatives including advancing and operationalizing many of our technology efforts, advancing our analytical processes and capabilities as well as a number of other focus areas for HCA Healthcare.
In 2008, Marks was the chief financial officer of the National Group of HCA Healthcare. He was responsible for HCA Healthcare’s financial operations in 13 states, which included 89 hospitals.
From 2004-2008, Marks served as CFO of the HCA Healthcare West Florida Division, where he was responsible for all operations and development activities for 15 hospitals in West and Central Florida. He began his career at HCA Healthcare in 1996 as a Senior Manager in Internal Audit and subsequently served as the Eastern Group Controller and the CFO for a two hospital system in Ocala, Florida.
