NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HCA (NYSE:HCA) today announced the completion of its acquisition of Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
The 82-bed facility is HCA’s second hospital in Wichita, joining 760-bed Wesley Medical Center.
“The addition of Galichia Heart Hospital is a great complement to our existing operations and patient services in Wichita,” said Jeffrey A. Dorsey, President of HCA’s Continental Division. “We are very pleased to welcome Galichia to the HCA family.”
HCA’s plans to purchase Galichia were announced in December 2010. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
